What is it?
You’ll be hard pressed to find a university or class attending person who hasn’t wondered about their attendance percentage and whether they can afford to miss the next class. It is very important to make that final cut for attendance and most people don’t have a good system helping them with that.
Attend is a simple app that helps you track all your classes and your schedule via a beautiful and clean UX.
You open Attend to answer one question: How many more classes can I skip? Each card gives you the percentage as a ring and, next to it, a plain-language badge that has already done the projection for you.
The badge tells you everything you need to know. Your current percentage is already calculated and attend knows that what actually matters is the number you’ll finish the term on. The app counts the sessions still to come, works out the best and worst you can land on, and says it in simple words so you’re not doing arithmetic in your head at the back of a lecture hall.
Marking, in the corridor
Marking is meant to happen the moment a class ends, so it gets a beautiful flow that show up as flashcards which you can easily mark. Tap the “mark today” banner and Attend hands you one class at a time: the name, the time, and two big buttons. Present or Absent, then the next one slides in. If a class got cancelled, you say so and it drops out of the maths instead of counting against you.

The best part about attend is that it’s calculation is dynamic and updates every time you change variables like course duration, extra classes, class cancellations, updating previous attendance logs and much more. No more worries
Design philosophy and stack details
Attend is not just for university students so while the app does have the option for semester based logic, classes are the base unit and can be added individually (this helps for classes like language learning, dance etc. as well).
It is built to be local-first: reads come straight from Dexie (IndexedDB), so it opens instantly and works offline as well with no signal. Edits later sync to your own Supabase account in the background.
The other part of the stack includes Vite, React and strict TypeScript. It installs to the home screen and works offline by default.
