About

I studied at BITS Goa, graduating in 2024 with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and a Master’s in Economics. Since then, I’ve written software as an engineer at Amazon and Coupa. Right now I’m moving toward product, business and go-to-market work. I think that’s where I can utilise my gifts and strengths the most, closest to the problem and the people it’s actually for.

What I care about

I’m particularly passionate about socio-economic, technological and public-policy problems in India. I am a huge believer in Indian dynamism, the bright future India has and I’d like to play some part in helping get there.

Education and healthcare are also fields that constantly fascinate me, I find myself coming back to core questions in these domains constantly (mainly about how to deliver their best outcomes reliably without letting human incompetence, greed or malice get in the way).

Reading, learning and constantly seeking answers to the questions I have are activities that sustain me, and I try to prioritise these habits no matter what I’m doing in life.

Work

I’ve found that having work feel personal is absolutely non-negotiable for me and that happens when I work hard and care about what I’m doing. As much as I’ve tried to manage otherwise in the past, these values are what I constantly work towards, and they are sine qua non for me:

• Repping the team jersey and feeling a sense of personal ownership and responsibility at whatever I’m doing.
• High competence, agency and kindness for/from peers. No zero-sum mentality when thinking about knowledge sharing, career development and how to best work towards collective goals.
• Working with people whom I look forward to being in the trenches with, people who are not just the best at what they do but are even better human beings with high integrity and character.
• Colleagues who work stupendously hard and emulate (and thus inspire) dignity, respect, competence, radical honesty, kindness and accountability.
